PADI Scuba Diver

This course
is conducted over two consecutive days and follows the same format as the Open
Water Diver Course, that is:

Day 1

Diving
Theory

Pool Skills
Training Sessions

Day 2

Ocean Dives
1 & 2

Scuba Diver
Certification

The course
cost is $295 plus certification. Therefore the additional cost for a PADI
Certification Pack which includes the manual is $99. When you upgrade to a full
Open Water Certification you will need to supply proof of having purchased a
manual with PADI to buy just the C Card.

The course
comprises:

Theory  sessions 1, 2 & 3

Pool Skills
Sessions 1, 2 & 3

Ocean Dives
1 & 2

At the
successful completion of the Scuba Diver Program you will be qualified to dive
with a dive leader or above to a maximum depth of 12 metres. It's really an
interim step to full Open Water Diver.

Since we
actually complete all the pool skills sessions 1 through 5 and all the theory,
we also issue a "referral" which means that when you upgrade, you
only have to do the last two Ocean Dives, not the rest of the pool and theory.
Please note however, that the referral will expire after 12 months.
